Diagnosis of Cysts

Most cysts are either visible or can be felt under the skin. Cysts that are not visible to the human eye and cannot be felt need imaging studies done to find out the exact location. This is the case with cysts that form on the internal organs like liver or the kidneys. The various imaging studies that may be used are:

•    X Ray
•    Ultrasound
•    CAT scan
•    MRI
